Choc chip banana bread

Makes 1 loaf


  • 2.5 mashed bananas
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1 egg (if vegan sub for flax egg)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup oat flour
  • 3/4 cup almond meal
  • 1/4 cup hemp protein
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 75g chopped up dark choc
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • Pinch of salt


Preheat the oven to 180 degrees celcius and line a loaf pan with baking paper
Peel bananas into a blender and blend until mashed. Add the remaining ingredients and blend until combined
Pour batter evenly into prepared loaf pan. Top with half a fresh banana and a sprinkle of hemp seedsd
Bake for 60-70 minutes.
Allow to cool on a cooling rack for about 1 hour.
