Homemade Hemp Mylk

G.F – D.F – V – R.S.F
Makes 1 large Jar

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup hemp seeds
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 dates
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp coconut oil

Method

Add hemp seeds, dates and water to a blender and run on high for 2 minutes on high
Strain into a large bowl using a nut milk bag
Squeeze through milk and get rid of the shells leftover in the milk bag.
Give the blender a rinse, and add the milk back in to the blender and combine the remaining ingredients. Blend for 30 seconds more.
Let the milk rest a bit for a couple of minutes until most of the bubbles disapear and then pour into a glass jar with a lid.
Store in the fridge

Raw hemp protein ball

Serves 10

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/2 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup soaked dates
  • 1/3 cup hemp seed
  • 1/3 cup coconut flakes

Topping

Melted dark choc
Hemp seeds

Method

Add all ingredients into a blender and blend till combined
Once combined, roll into balls
Melt dark choc and drizzle over the top of each ball and sprinkle with hemp seeds
Leave in fridge to set
Enjoy

Cacao superfood smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 4 pieces of ice
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1.5 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon

Method

Add all ingredients to a blender and blend till smooth
Pour into a glass and sprinkle over hemp seeds
Enjoy

Choc banana hemp muffins

Serves 10

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 2 scoops hemp protein
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 60g chopped dark choc
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

1 – Preheat oven to 180c degrees and line a muffin tray with baking paper or cases
2 – Mash 2 bananas then mix through all remaining ingredients.
3 – Transfer the muffin batter evenly across 10 muffin cups
4 – Bake at 180c degrees for 20-25 minutes
5 – Transfer to a wire rack and let them cool.
6 – Once cool, top with melted choc and sprinkle of cacao nibs and hemp seeds

Grain free hemp bircher

Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp flax seeds
  • 1 tbsp coconut flakes
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • Cinnamon
  • Pinch of pink salt
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • 1.5 tbsp plant protein or hemp
  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup water

Method

  • Combine all ingredients into a jar and give a good shake
  • Leave overnight in the fridge
  • Pour into a bowl and top with your favourite goodies

Paleo hemp pancakes

G.F – D.F – R.S.F
Serves 1

Ingredients

  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tbsp hemp protein
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • Tbsp almond meal
  • Cinnamon

Toppings

  • Hemp granola
  • Freeze dried raspberries
  • Hemp seeds
  • Nut butter
  • Pure maple syrup

Method

  • Mash the banana into a bowl
  • Add the remaining ingredients and mix well
  • Heat the fry pan on medium heat and spray lightly with coconut oil or oil of choice
  • Pour 2 tbsp of mixture per pancake into the pan and and repeat for each pancake making 3-4 pancakes at one time
  • Once the mixture starts to bubble, flip and cook the other side
  • Set aside pancakes when cooked and repeat the process until all mixture is gone
  • Layer the pancakes onto a plate and top with all the good stuff
  • Enjoy

Hemp Granola Recipe

  • 2/3 cup almonds
  • 1 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup pumpkin seed
  • 2/3 cup hazelnuts
  • 1 cup coconut flakes
  • 1 cup hemp seeds
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • Dash of vanilla extract
  • Tsp cinnamon
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1/4 cup pure maple
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil

Method

Preheat oven to 200 degrees. Place almonds, pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts and walnuts into a food processor blend until the nuts are chopped. Don’t process too much because you still want some chunky pieces.

Transfer the mixture into a big bowl, add all remaining ingredients and stir well. Spread an even layer of the mixture onto a baking sheet.

Bake for 15 minutes or until golden. Remove from oven, let cool and enjoy. It will get crunchier as it cools. Store in an airtight container 🙂

Hemp Protein Cookies

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup Hemp Innovations hemp protein
  • 3/4 cup flax meal
  • 1/2 cup almond meal
  • 2 tbsp honey (or pure maple for vegan alternative)
  • Pinch of pink Himalayan salt
  • 2 tbsp melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 60g dark choc (l used Whittaker’s)

Method

  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees and line baking tray
  • Mix together all ingredients into a bowl until combined
  • Take a tablespoon of the mixture and roll into a ball and place on baking tray and press softly
  • Bake for 15-20 mins or until golden
  • Remove from oven and cool
  • Drizzle more dark choc on top
